Tesla has officially started delivering the first-tesla model y 2019 to American customers. In the midst of a crisis due to COVID-19 and with companies temporarily closing their factories, Tesla has managed to keep up and actually start shipping the first Model Y months earlier than it had been estimated a year ago when it was introduced by the first time.
When would the shipments start?
The brand has already warned that shipments would start during this month of March. The Tesla Model Y is a kind of SUV. That is based on the same platform as the Tesla Model 3, with which it shares 75% of the internal and external parts. This similarity is probably what has allowed its launch to be carried out on the scheduled schedule by facilitating its production.
The Tesla Model 3 has shown great interest from customers, the CEO of the company, Elon Musk, believes that in Model Y the success could be even greater. The reason? The growing interest in SUVs, which increase the size and capabilities of the car.
