If the 6.5 inches of the iPhone 11 Pro Max seemed too small to you, do not despair: in 2020 Apple will offer a worthy successor that will go even further and reach 6.7 inches iphone diagonal according to Ming-Chi Kuo, the analyst whose predictions are usually accurate when talking about Apple’s future mobiles.
Kuo affirms that these models will be special with respect to the rest of the range. They will integrate a new optical image stabilization system that will be prepared to work with the ultra-wide-angle, to achieve well-defined photos.
Optical stabilization in all scenarios
The feature, says Kuo, will end up reaching the rest of the iPhone that Apple launches, but it will be when it does so in 2021. Meanwhile, this advance will be one of those that will differentiate the largest model in the future range.

In the current iPhone 11, Pro optical image stabilization works in both photos and video, but only with the main camera or the telephoto.
To achieve this stabilization in the ultra-wide-angle camera Apple will integrate the sensor-shift technology, and that will also influence when using the iPhone with attachable lenses such as those manufactured by companies like OlloClip.
To this improvement in the camera system is added the one that theoretically will make your telephoto also improve notably even in the long term: Kuo himself indicated that the iPhone of 2022 will integrate a “periscope” objective with which it will be possible to reach 5x optical zoom or even go further.
